Think of it like building a house.
Mixing is assembling the raw materials; we take every individual instrument and vocal track and balance them together.
Stem Mastering is a hybrid step where you send us grouped tracks (e.g., just drums, just vocals) so we can fix minor balance issues.
Stereo Mastering is the final structural polish. You send me a single stereo file, and I use elite hardware to optimize the tone, width, and loudness so it translates perfectly to all playback systems.
-
For Stereo Mastering, send one uncompressed stereo file (24-bit or 32-bit WAV) at the native sample rate your project was recorded in.
-
A great master requires a healthy mix. Turn off any brickwall limiters or heavy compression on your main master output fader. Aim for your loudest peaks to hit between -3dB and -6dB on your meters so your track has room to breathe. Ensure your audio is not clipping or distorting before you export it.
-
I won't slap a master on a broken mix. If I notice major clipping, severe frequency imbalances, or distortion, I will pause production and email you with constructive, friendly feedback so you can optimize the mix and re-upload it.
-
Your unreleased music safe with me and I hold myself to a strict confidentiality standard. Your unreleased tracks, mixes, files, and personal information are completely secure. They will never be shared, leaked, sold, or distributed under any circumstances. Your intellectual property remains entirely yours.

Once your invoice is raised, you can pay instantly via credit card through Hnry's secure online link. Please note depending on your bank there may be a small surcharge which we are unable to avoid when paying online.

I am proudly based in Auckland, New Zealand, but serve a global market. I use a transparent dual-currency approach so international clients can pay in USD and local Kiwi artists can pay in NZD without any confusing conversion math. Your secure checkout invoice will match the currency of your region.

If I deliver a master and you realize you need to fix a mistake in your own mix layout (e.g., turning down a vocal or changing a lyric) and you send me a new file, this requires an entirely new analog processing pass and will incur a small re-upload fee.
